2020 – A Guru of Karma

We do hear many times that our doings will reflect back to us in future. What we do, gets us back, precisely we can call it Karma. We do also have this understanding that there are undoubtedly certain things which we do intentionally or unintentionally, might be good for one or the other or might be hurting for someone but goes unnoticeable by us. I would agree many of those are not in anyone’s control. Something which is good for someone might be unfruitful for the other but what matters is the priority of the act and use of any specific work for good cause for one of them is what defines our Karma. We often have a belief, you may call it superstitions but it’s a mere fact that many of us belief to start a new day or a new year on a good and happy note. Few people also opt to do some holy work which could possibly makes the entire day or year happy and prosperous for them and their family. Now, that could be summed up as everyone wants a happy, calm and prosperous life. However, many of our acts do not qualify us for these perks of life. We do not make us eligible to use best of the resources of nature as we keep harming the nature in our day-to-day life.

Human being were and are the most precious and premium creation on the nature and what we are doing in returns! We are in unsaid cold war with nature in challenging manner. Many a times, we have also seen a defeat but are we really serious to account our mistakes and not to repeat em’ all again? We came across the most cruel pandemic may be of the century – Covid-19 which claims millions of lives. Which means many happy families in the beginning of 2020 were led to live with the reduced family members, were led to be deprived of the love and affection of their complete family and restricted themselves to keep continuing what they use to do with that particular family member. This void created in their family is never going to be compensated by anyone and only such family can understand the loss they had. How are we going to see this in terms of Karma? Is it their individual acts which led them cost the lives of their family member? Absolutely not! This is an act of violence with nature and suffering is accounted to entire mankind. It’s just everyone of us on Earth is a culprit to nature and destroying her.

In race of personal benefits and achieving things quickly, we humans are going second to none, not even the demons. We are racing to finish our race and still not bidding an eye to save our Earth and for this we humans are even agreeing to live alone in our whole new place of deprival and denials just to satisfy our materialistic ambitions. This Covid-19 pandemic has turned up to be an eye opener for us to understand how nature can get back her things to normal and restore the best of hers. How beautiful it was to see animals roaring and humming to human’s place and still harmed no one. How mesmerizing the view was of the mountains covered with snow which we never thought of seeing from the places far away and how exciting was the experience to have a shake hands & fur with water mammals at the shore. We have got so tremendous amount of time to witness the restoration of nature and feel it. This also gave us so tremendous amount of time to spend with family and to make us believe that the time machine is something not actually a machine rather it’s our sense of taking things with the perspective of satisfying all sorts of emotional needs which could actually go well with professional and personal life in parallel. No money helped people to travel their planned holiday destination neither saved someone’s life. Everyone were having access to some particular stores only and people irrespective of poor or prince have to depend on it to source their livelihood. No malls, no flights, food courts were opened but we still managed to live. Where is the differences now? What let us to live is the feeling of being human and recognizing our emotions and connection with other human. The way this Covid-19 forces us to live a life, we are definitely not going to cheer it up but we have to take away the learnings from it and respect the things matter most to us. Let’s categorize this as a personal and emotional part.

Now, I would also like to know if there is anyone who can claim to suffer extremely hard in every front of life (let’s keep those away who lost someone from their family) like they were not able to socialize as ever etc? Well! Let’s categorize it as a technological advancement part. Let’s assume how life would have been in early 20th century and earlier when technology was something which were out of the reach of common people and no internet, phones, video games etc were there. Now, the biggest gift of technology to the mankind is Internet which actually never accepted to push the world a step back but keep on improving to fill the gap between demand and supply with better services. People never going out for anything but yet not fall sort of any of their daily activities/ purchases. Almost everything even the schools were brought to our homes and show kept on going. We cannot be at denial end if in future Technology will rule the world and robots will make human their slave and we cannot surprise when our coded robots will overtook those codes and start doing things beyond the fed logics. May be in that case, things will get improved a bit.

Last but not the least, we have to think that whatever we are doing should not be an act of challenging and destroying nature. We will always be at the receiving end of our doings and no material going to suffice the void being created due to its consequences. Be kind to everyone and be emotional enough to be able to talk to your inner soul.
